I am married to my soul mate and best friend, and I am the Mother of four fabulous and amazing little beings. Together we all live in the land of milk and honey, Reno, Nevada.
My hubby and I are entrepreneurs and do our best to work from home so that we can raise our kidlets together...and to spend as much time with each other as we can! We have kids in both home schooling and in brick-and-mortar schooling. It's all about what works for each individual kiddo.
We do much of our art together, and with our children. When we are not working on a collaborative art project, we are offering support and ideas for each other's art-ing.
I broke the shackles of limiting self-definitions during a recent workshop...and here are some of the less label-ly descriptive looks at what I'm all about:
I am the A-ha moment right before you fall asleep; the chewy tidbits in the middle of a Toblerone bar; the Mama Bear standing up and roaring and preparing to protect her cubs from some danger; I am the quiet moonflower bloom that opens only at night; and the smell of old sheet music.
I am a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with chocolate milk; I am the sound of foamy bubbles popping and fizzing in the bubble bath; I am the girl roller skating at the roller disco singing "That's the Way I Like It"; and I am the silken notes of a blues saxophone falling from a second-story window on a hot-summer's night.
And I am Jonathon Livingston Seagull.
